Hello to All,

The 2011 EKJGA Walmart Tour has come to a close. Not only was our last event the biggest event of the year, it was also the most exciting. This year we ran 10 events and had an average attendance of 77 players per event. The event at Eagle Trace had 109 applicants and was the first event in EKJGA history to top the 100 player mark. We did have some last minute cancellations that brought the numbers down some, but it still remains our largest field to date.

Player of the Year races in the Boys’ Grade 4-6 and 11-12 division went right down to the wire. My congratulations go out to all of our winners and you can see the results of the POY standings on the standings page.

Congratulations to Logan Napier for “acing” #16 at Eagle Trace. His 6 iron shot was a thing of beauty.

Our girl’s grade 4-6 division added a little excitement by going into a 2 hole sudden death playoff, so with all the above happening you can see why I say this was our most exciting event of the season.

The website is now fully updated and contains results and photos of all our 2011 events. That information will remain on the website until next year, so if you wish to have information about any of the results I suggest you visit the site. Once I remove the information from the website it will be gone forever, so please make sure you get what you want before it disappears.

In closing I want to say it has been a great year for Pat, me, our staff and volunteers. My thanks to all the host courses, our cookout sponsors, and very special thanks to Walmart for making the EKJGA Tour possible.
